Voted BM. He has a couple of very good albums to his name
More importantly, he's not Rick Ross, who as far as obese, boring, generic, bland, talentless, fuckwit rappers go is at the top of the game right now.

(awaits 3 pages of comments going on about Rick Ross' beat selection blah blah blah)

BM got Monch, Sean Price and Primo on one track
Ross makes records with Drake, Jay Z and Diddy (aka The Nu Gay Mafia)

I know, it was just another reason not to vote for the fat clown. I'm just going for who makes the better music overall and i'd rather listen to a Black Milk acapella album chopped, screwed and autotuned than listen to Ross.

Deeper Than Rap was proof that no matter what, make some dope shit. Even if you have some fool goin' off about sticking your baby's momma and cats bringing up your with being a bailiff on your resume. Seriously, I can't take nothing from Ross on that. Honestly though, I'm gonna listen to Black Milk more because he's always been more consitent to me. Ross was not promising on Port Of Miami and I almost didn't give him another chance after hearing that album.

Rick Ross's latest album is fucking good but I've listened to much more black milk over my life. Much harder choice than it would have been for me a year ago

there's nothing unique about Black Milk. Those tracks posted are run of the mill, stuck in the 90s, snoozefests and I couldn't tell him apart from any other trite rapper out there.

Rick Ross is a character with a unique style who spits that self-aware hustler shit over hot beats and has just released maybe the best rap album of the year so far.

The fact that Black Milk is winning this poll says a lot about the posters here and is why I really can't fuck with M2C anymore. The boom-bork contingent seems to be growing at an alarming rate.

To those voting for BM, keep in mind this is the best new RAPPER tournament. Votes should be based on who is the best rapper, and BM's production ability shouldn't be considered in this poll.

Fuck it, I'm just salty Ross is losing. But it's seriously retarded.

from what i can gather, most people like Ross's music because of his beats. Those that are impressed by his rapping tend to consist of the mentally challenged and easily impressed.

Basically.

But blaming Europeans isn't the whole story, look at who voted in this thread.

Well, Ross did do the impossible when he beefed with 50 Cent and stepped his game up. Even though Kanye beat 50 out when Graduation came out, no one has shown a sign of improvement like Ross. And I can't stand Port Of Miami and didn't check for Trilla (which I will do now). But I had to give to him when Deeper Than Rap came out. Shit is impressive.

Like I said before, I personally like Black Milk's catalogue more than Rick Ross. I tell you one thing, if Black Milk starts doing shit with Freddie Gibbs after that show in NYC, watch a change of heart and opinion with some of these posters begin to show.
